	Objective: Students will be able to critically read the contents of a book and specified Internet sites in order to create a word-processed book jacket that gives a synopsis of the book, reviews, and information about the author’s life.

	Objective: Students will be able to calculate percentages and averages and create graphs by using a spreadsheet program. Students will also be able to summarize, analyze, and effectively communicate their results by using word processing and spreadsheet programs.

	Objective: Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of a character’s traits by writing a clear, cohesive letter to a specified audience from the perspective of a character from a recently read book. The letter will be word-processed and formatted properly.

	Fifty States Fair Social Studies, Language Arts PowerPoint, Internet, Word Processing more info>>
	Objective: Students will increase their knowledge of the United States by conducting specific online research. Students will report their research with a 6-10 slide PowerPoint presentation that includes properly cited text & graphics, Slide Transitions & Custom Animations.

	Objective: Students will give evidence of their understanding of food chains and their proficiency in using a word processing program by creating a food chain chart using WordArt and clip art.

	Objective: Students will be able to effectively plan a trip to a chosen destination, including making airline and hotel reservations. Students will also demonstrate proficiency in PowerPoint by creating a well-organized presentation with slide transitions, custom animations & images.

	Objective: Students will use specific Internet web sites to research the planet Mars and the Solar System then report their research in a PowerPoint slide show. Students will be able to understand specific information about the planet Mars and use this information to explain what a traveler to the planet Mars would encounter on his or her journey.
