	Objectives: Students will use a word processor to create an acrostic poem. Students in K-2 will visit “http://www.christmas-time.com/cp-hist.html” to learn about the History of Christmas and select an appropriate image for their poem. Students in grades 3-8 will “Search” the Internet and locate 3 web sites to use in their research of the history of Christmas. Students will add properly cited pictures and 3 interesting facts to their document from their research.

	Objective: Students will understand the concept of a ‘Found Poem’ and be able to create one of their own using the Internet to find related words, phrases, fragments, and statements and combining them by using a word processing program.

	Home Business - Budget Math, Language Arts Spreadsheet, Internet more info>>
	Project Overview: Students will use the Internet to research start-up and monthly costs of a home business, then create a Spreadsheet to calculate the costs for 12 months.

	Project Overview: Students will exhibit mastery in creating a business letterhead and letter using a Word Processing program.

	Project Overview: Students will create a PowerPoint presentation of their chosen business complete with Services Offered.

	Mother's Day Poem Language Arts, Social Studies Word Processing, Internet more info>>
	Objective: Students will demonstrate simple proficiency using Microsoft Word and Paint together to create a Mother's Day greeting card with “flowers” created in Paint. Students in K-2 will write a brief message. Students in grades 1-2 will copy a poem. Students in grades 3-5 will find a poem on a web site. Students in 6-8 will create their own poems.

	Objective: Students will compile data on their food intake for one week for use in comparison to the USDA’s recommended diet. Students will demonstrate ability to create spreadsheets, manipulate data within a spreadsheet and create charts based on comparison of data. They will give evidence of their ability to analyze data in a word-processed document.

	Objective: Students will create a survey to solicit voting behavior data and distribute it to at least 10 family members, friends, neighbors, etc. who will be of voting age in the next presidential election. Students will input the data they collected into a spreadsheet, and then they will use the spreadsheets to participate in a class discussion and analyze the data they collected. Students will use what they learned from that discussion to create a campaign encouraging adults to vote in all elections.

	Objective: Students research companies and select two in which to invest. They will then setup an investment portfolio and track the results of their investments. At the end of a designated period of time the students will present the results of their investment in a PowerPoint presentation.

	Project Overview: Students will use www.expedia.com to research the costs for flights, rental cars, hotel, dining and other excursions for a 7-night family vacation to a specified destination. Then they will create a Spreadsheet to calculate costs and display graphically.

	Project Overview: Students will create a PowerPoint presentation with all the details for a selected trip complete with slide transitions, custom animation, properly cited images, music and video.
